Finished 12 Puzzles

My main goal with this project was to allow players to look at the puzzle and be able to say to themselves that they got the puzzle correct. I made the game with that in mind throughout, using games like car box puzzles and flow as examples. Too many times puzzle games use mechanics that require players to check a answer sheet. As a player I know that having to ask whether or not I am correct and finding out that I am wrong is extremely frustrating. I made sure to avoid those issues.

Description

Stacksplosion is a puzzle game that I created with the goal of making something unique and easy to understand. In this game players must stack pieces on top of each other to fill each grid with the correct colors.

Why/Motto

Goals/Milestones

As the project evolved I created more puzzle grids and pieces for players to use. I created puzzles myself by printing tons of extra pieces and filling a grid. After some time I would find different levels of difficulty and would rank the stage among the rest. I completed the first 5 puzzles in my first week. And the last 7 my second week. I did extensive testing and have found these 12 puzzles to be the best.
